As an HSEQ Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards. **Responsibilities**:
ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 Implementation & Certification:
Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) standards. Ensure compliance with the requirements of these standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Coordinate certification processes and liaise with certification bodies.Internal Audit Completions & External Audit Support:
Conduct internal audits to assess the organization's compliance with HSEQ standards, policies, and procedures. Prepare audit reports, identify non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions. Provide support during external audits by assisting auditors, addressing queries, and ensuring appropriate documentation is available.Full or Part-Time HSEQ System & Site Maintenance:
Maintain and update the HSEQ management system, including documentation, records, and registers. Ensure all HSEQ-related documentation is accurate, accessible, and up to date. Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with HSEQ requirements.Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Risk Assessments (RAs), Registers, Management Plans:
Develop and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Risk Assessments (RAs), and related documentation to identify and mitigate workplace hazards and risks. Maintain registers for incidents, hazards, inspections, and other HSEQ-related activities. Assist in the development and implementation of HSEQ management plans, ensuring alignment with legal and industry standards.HSEQ Onsite & Office Contractor Services:
Provide HSEQ support and guidance to contractors working onsite or in the office. Conduct contractor assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with HSEQ standards. Collaborate with contractors to address any identified non-conformities and promote a culture of safety and quality.Policies & Procedures Development:
Develop, review, and update HSEQ policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Communicate policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders, ensuring understanding and compliance.Onsite & System Gap Analysis:
Conduct onsite inspections and system gap analyses to identify areas of improvement in HSEQ practices. Propose and implement corrective actions to address identified gaps and enhance the organization's HSEQ performance.
- Qualifications and Skills:
Relevant education or certifications in occupational health and safety, environmental management, quality management, or a related field. Experience with conducting internal audits and supporting external audits. Strong understanding of HSEQ management systems and their implementation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify risks, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using HSEQ software
