Cost Controller

Downer's industrial & Energy team have an opportunity for a **Cost Controller **to join their team based out of the Perth CBD office. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, this role will primarily be responsible for responsible for assisting with reports and cost control functions.
***ABOUT YOU**
- Preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment, Cost Reports.
- Management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
- Assist with reconciling of budget reports.
- Check and update purchase Order values in all cost reports.
- The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts.
- Contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers.
- Coordinate with Accounts and Procurement team to ensure inventory stock numbers are accurately reported.
- Take responsibility for time-critical cost reporting; and
- Analyse weekly financial reports and provide insights on variances to the leadership team
To be successful you will have:
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Experience in Cost Control ideally gained within the Mining Industry.
- High attention to detail, information process and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- High levels of motivation and excellent time management and organisational skills; and
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands within the business.
