Linkforce is a leading integrated maintenance, engineering, and project services delivery business. Founded in 2007, Linkforce started with a small crew of shutdown specialists and a single utility operating in the Pilbara. Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.

Our projects business unit is proven in multi-disciplinary project delivery, with capabilities for delivering Brownfields and Greenfield CAPEX or OPEX work packages. We have a proven track record of successfully completing a high volume of project packages for our Blue Chip mining client base. From design through to completion and handover, we are able to supply, maintain and manage all aspects of project works including remedial works, capital works, and expansion projects.

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Cost Controller to join our Projects Controls team. This full-time, permanent position is based at our Perth Head Office and is responsible for:

- Setting up and maintaining cost budgets for projects based on tender estimates
- Preparation of internal and client invoicing and supporting documentation
- Maintaining all cost commitments, including review of internal and third-party costs
- Preparing monthly project cost and revenue forecasts and assisting in producing monthly Contract Status Reports
- Providing cost control support and assistance, including project closeout and lessons learned
- Inputting client variations and maintaining current contract value and budgets
- Reviewing requisitions and commitments for compliance with project cost coding
- Preparing consolidated project invoicing forecasts
- Assisting with office and site timekeeping systems and reporting

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, engineering, project management, or related discipline
- Post-graduate experience in a cost controller or similar role
- Understanding and application of project cost management principles
- Strong data and communication skills
- Ability to maintain quality and attention to detail when working to deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
- High levels of computer literacy including ERP and reporting systems like Pronto, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office suite
- Active participation in departmental goals, objectives, and projects
- Experience working for a construction contractor in the mining/resources industry is highly desirable
