Cost Controller

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a (Junior) Cost Controller. As a Cost Controller, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and analysing costs to ensure efficient financial management across the project. Your focus will include:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost reports, budgets, and forecasts- Monitor and track project costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of cost data and identify discrepancies- Assist in the development and implementation of cost control procedures and policies- Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost control

What you will bring to the team:
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software- Basic knowledge of ERP software (Oracle and/or SAP) and PRISM software- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities- Effective communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Prior experience in cost control or financial analysis is a distinct advantage
