***About the Position**
***We are looking to welcome a**Program Coordinator** to provide leadership, consultation, assessments, advice and input that will provide better outcomes for children and families referred for child protection concerns.**
***:
- **Full time position.**:
- **Government funded until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension.**:
- **Level 7 under the SCHCADS Salary range is $119,094 - $124,074 + Super.**
***_Key Responsibilities:_**
***:
- **Lead a team to deliver high quality outcomes within a performance planning and development culture.**:
- **Actively participate in activities including meetings of ASC members and key stakeholders.**:
- **Provide expert opinion, guidance, advice, assessments and consultation on referrals, processes and service connections as part of the ASC team.**:
- **Respond as part of the ASC team on referrals.**
***About You**
***:
- **A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, psychology).**:
- **At least 5 years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or have experienced abuse and neglect, or more than five years’ experience working in similar roles.**:
- **An ability to lead and build a strong, cohesive team in alignment with Act for Kids’ values.**:
- **Demonstrated specialist skills in at least one of the following areas drug and alcohol, mental health, family and domestic violence, child development.**

- **Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.**:
- **Current driver’s licence.**:
- **Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).**
