**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**Location: Birtinya, Sunshine Coast**

Assist with executing against the Livestock procurement strategy to meet the current and future requirements for the organisation, whilst maximizing value creation.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrated experience within the livestock supply chain (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Skilled in project planning, coordination, and successful delivery of outcomes
- Experienced in preparing and delivering professional presentations to diverse audiences
- Competent in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting to inform decision-making
- Strong emotional intelligence with proven interpersonal and communication skills

**YOUR RESPONSILBITIES**
- Assist with purchasing execution to deliver against supply, specification and price targets
- Assist with developing livestock programs to align with sales demand and customer requirements
- Support livestock logistics to ensure production timelines and targets are met
- Liaise with Livestock Coordinators to ensure procurement and scheduling is aligned to production planning
- Monitor, review and report against livestock prices with consideration to industry drivers
- Support with development and maintenance of feedlot costing models
- Consistent and accurate updating of data into the Livestock Central system
- Ensure an efficient and professional information flow from Livestock Procurement across internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in meetings and forums internally and externally in relation to Livestock procurement and general industry activities
- Proactively escalate issues of risk and opportunity to the Head of Livestock
