**About the Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as an **Operations Excellence Specialist**. The Operations Excellence Specialist is responsible for supporting in the management, coordination, and execution of key retailer programs. The primary focus is national coordination and maintenance of the channel standards as well as the delivery of other key initiatives that require a national coordinated approach, with delivery supported by the states and other functional teams.

**In this Role**
- Lead and coordinate stakeholders to deliver project work streams associated with Channel Standards in line with project and change deliverables.
- Ongoing management of the Channel Standards to ensure that changes and updates are communicated and delivered to retailers, supported by the state and other functional teams.
- Support the development of the Salesforce platform to assist operations teams in planning, prioritizing and executing retailer initiatives
- Management of other retail projects and priorities as directed, including scope development, stakeholder management and execution - including price, range and sales.
- Complete various reporting and analysis tasks to support the operational excellence team and states in related initiatives.

**You’re Likely a Match If***
- Retail Operations experience would be desirable
- Previous experience working with retail operations projects
- Proven ability to build strong and effective working relationships both internally & externally
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI
- Exceptional communication skills and can articulate complex issues with simplicity and focus.
