Fp&a Analyst Brisbane or Sydney

**The opportunity**:
**Fitness & Lifestyle Group** is looking for an **FP&A Analyst** to support key projects within our Finance team, with a focus on enhancing reporting, streamlining processes, and supporting ongoing systems improvements. As we continue to evolve how we work - including upgrades to our finance, HR, and CRM systems - you'll play a valuable role in helping deliver greater insight and efficiency across the business. This is a great opportunity for a detail-driven analyst looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment.

This role can be based from either our Brisbane or Sydney offices.

**Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Assist with the creation, updating, and maintenance of project plans and scope
- Develop detailed testing scripts, execute tests, and document outcomes
- Identify reporting gaps, risks, and areas for improvement, and follow up accordingly
- Liaise with project stakeholders and provide clear, actionable insights
- Support ongoing improvements to business and financial reporting processes
- Provide day-to-day support to the FP&A team across all areas of work

**What you'll bring**:
**Essential**:

- Accounting degree
- CA/CPA studying or qualified
- Knowledge of analytical tools
- A strong ability to analyse and communicate financial information, work as part of a team or work autonomously when required and analyse large datasets;
- Detail focused with the ability to follow through on issues to their resolution
- Strong presentation skills and communication to a wide range of stakeholders
- Deadline driven with the ability to manage multiple projects
- A good understanding of complex spreadsheet models and interpretation, and accounting principles;
- Manipulate data through advanced knowledge of excel in a way that is concise and efficient
- Ability to interact with and inform the business as a trusted partner
