What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced Retail People & Culture Consultant to join the People & Culture team in a permanent full-time capacity.
The Retail People & Culture Consultant is primarily responsible for supporting the dealer network in implementing best practise HR policies and principles within their respective business to support dealers acquiring employer of choice status and achieving business objectives.
The People & Culture division is responsible for the provision of Toyota best practise advisory, learning and development services to both internal customers and external businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, Toyota employees, dealers, suppliers, vehicle importers and the broader community.
Sydney Olympic Park location with flexible work arrangements.
How you’ll make an impact- Partner with regions to identify dealerships requiring targeted support in addressing people and culture issues/priorities.- Support dealers in identifying organisational development needs to ensure employee engagement and enablement opportunities and workforce management processes are addressed.- Maintain, review and update programs, initiatives, and projects to attract and retain dealer network employees. Maintain the project schedules by coordinating inputs from the People & Culture - Retail team and/or other areas of the business/network, in order to provide accurate and timely information.- Facilitate the establishment of value-added network of dealer management with HR responsibilities supporting the implementation of best practise process to strengthen employee engagement and enablement. This includes ensuring changes to procedures, processes and legislative requirements are accurately documented and communicated throughout the network to optimise employee engagement and enablement.- Gather, collate, and organise information from the network and prepare and distribute reports, information and presentations to ensure sound decision making as well as making recommendations/countermeasures where required.- Partner with other divisions to ensure that the business is serviced and is optimally supported in achieving their objectives through their people.
Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience in project management and HR roles, including organisational development.- Broad understanding of HR initiatives, programs, and services to attract and retain employees.- Understanding of automotive, hospitality, retail and/or Dealer franchise network (desirable).- Strong time-management, confident, with excellent communication and interpersonal/people skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.- Ability to travel locally and interstate when required.
