**About Us**
Brighter Futures Allied Health is a vibrant and growing clinic and mobile-based service dedicated to delivering high-quality allied health care to children and families across South West Sydney. We are looking to increase our service offerings due to high demand from families are seeking motivated Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) to join us in supporting the local community.

This is an ideal opportunity for final-year Speech Pathology students or individuals studying towards an allied health qualification who are passionate about working with children and gaining hands-on clinical experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

**About the Role**

This is a part-time position, perfect for those currently completing their studies. Under the guidance and supervision of qualified Speech Pathologists, you will:

- Assist with the delivery of therapy programs for children with a range of communication needs (e.g., speech sound delays, language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, AAC support).
- Support session preparation, documentation, and therapy resource development.
- Help facilitate group or individual therapy activities as directed by supervising clinicians.
- Maintain accurate session records and assist in reporting under supervision.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

**Who We’re Looking For**

We welcome applicants who are:

- **Currently studying** a Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology (preferably in their final year), or a relevant Allied Health Assistant qualification.
- Passionate about working with children and families.
- Strong communicators with a proactive, team-based attitude.
- Reliable, organised, and eager to learn and grow within the allied health field.

**Requirements**:

- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver’s licence and access to a car preferred but not essential
- Basic understanding of speech therapy practices desirable
- Fluent in English; multi-lingual applicants highly regarded

Pay: $29.00 - $38.00 per hour
