Dickson College is a senior secondary school in the inner north of Canberra. Dickson College has an enrolment of approximately 800 students. Most of the college’s enrolment comprises of Year 11 and 12 students, with a small cohort of students in years 7-11 attending our Secondary Introductory English Centre (SIEC).

Dickson College is seeking a dynamic, highly capable Student Engagement Manager with demonstrated professional/technical skills and knowledge and behavioural capabilities (as outlined in the attached Position Description).

The potential applicant should demonstrate strength in building positive and productive relationships with staff, students, and their families. They will need to establish credibility and partner with senior leadership and executive staff to lead the operations of the Student Engagement Team.

**Eligibility/other requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the _Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011_ is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)

**Desirable**:

- School based administration experience in colleges or high schools.
- Experience with school specific software including Sentral and Timetabling Solutions.
- First Aid Certificate

**Note**: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
