**Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Research, define and analyse complex policy and develop solutions that consider a variety of perspectives, including but not limited to, the public and industry.
- Identify and pursue policy opportunities to reform regulatory frameworks improving road safety and balancing industry outcomes.
- Autonomously manage a program of strategic policy and legislative work, delivering initiatives in a timely and professional manner, including preparing well researched submissions, briefs and policy documents.
- Engage, communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across Queensland and nationally, including within the department, government, industry and community in relation to the achievement of strategic transport system priorities.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement with the team.
