About the Role
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Co-manage the recording and collection of NCCD data
- Strategically lead the direction of the 'every student succeeding' agenda at the school
- Leadership of Teachers of Differentiation to support pedagogical practice and students in inclusive classrooms
- Management of the implementation of personalised learning plans (PLPs) for Tier 1/2 students
- Support the transition of Tier 1/2 students into the school in Term 4.
- Lead the implementation of co-teaching
- Line manage co-teaching teacher aides
- Deliver professional learning for teachers on differentiation at a classroom level
- Coordination of master support provisions for students with Guidance Officers and Teachers of Differentiation
- Coordination of diagnostic testing of students identified as having learning difficulties
- Liaise with Curriculum HODs to develop timetable of Teacher of Differentiation support for classroom teachers
- Lead the implementation of signature differentiation practices in alignment with the Art and Science of Teaching.
This position is at a HOD/ Stream 2, Level 1, and will attract a time allowance of four lines. You will be line managed by the SS and JS Principal and be part of the Teaching and Learning Team.
