**About the role**

Your mission (should you choose to accept it ) will be to build a high-performing, innovative technology operations function that enables ART to achieve its strategic and operational aspirations. A key focus will be on IT service management, encompassing incident, problem, change, asset, availability, capacity, and resilience management.

As the General Manager Technology Operations, you will lead the technology operations function to uplift capability, streamline processes, and embed world-class contemporary platform operations practices. You will foster accountability, service excellence, transparency, and automation in the provision of technology operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing cloud, network, infrastructure, and digital workplace technologies, ensuring service uptime, stability, security, capacity, scalability, and risk mitigation.

- Extensive experience and proven ability to operate highly resilient, stable and secure technology platforms at national and/or global scale
- Extensive experience operating at the level of enterprise leadership and influence with executive customers and stakeholders
- Experience implementing high quality standards for path to production and implementation readiness linked to risk appetite and control effectiveness
- Proven ability to drive transformation of Platform Operations to achieve contemporary best practice in financial services
- Deep expertise in best practice for Technology and Platform Operations with mature service management disciplines
- Proven ability to deliver Platform Operations services in a highly regulated and highly operationally significant environment
- Proven ability to collaborate and partner across Technology and with enterprise, project and transformation stakeholders and customers
- Expertise in contemporary technologies and approaches which leverage automation, DevSecOps, cloud and cloud-native solutions, infrastructure as code and SaaS integration
- A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance frameworks for superannuation in Australia.
