**THE ROLE**

As the Head Academic, you will play the lead role in directing and advising the teaching and learning team, to facilitate the best possible learning experience for students.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your academic and financial advice expertise to shape the future of the financial advice profession. The role will see you create, develop and deliver Financial Advice course content. You will provide continual advice and support for students, and feedback to tutors and assessors. You will participate in course review processes, assessment-related benchmarking and RPL assessments.

**DUTIES**
- Prepare and deliver online lectures, tutorials, practicals, seminars and workshops
- Perform a key role in maintenance of academic standards and in the development of educational policy and curriculum
- Provide support and coaching to students, as well as feedback to tutors and assessors to ensure optimal learning experience
- Develop and review course material and assessments
- Participate in course review processes such as content renewal and accreditation

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- A Master's degree qualification in financial planning, applied finance, education or a related area (essential)
- Experience in finance or related area, and demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the industry
- Experience in learning design and delivery in both higher and vocational education
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and high level interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
- High level analytical and technical skills
