A professional and loving family in Templestowe Lower, VIC are seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their 2 children (4yr old girl and 12 month old baby boy).

Note
- Oct
- Dec 2024 care is only required for the youngest and then from Jan 2025 care will be required for both children on the Monday.

**The days and normal hours are - 1 day per week**

Monday 8.30- 3.00 pm

A nanny who is kind and friendly but also nurturing, easy going, calm and patient.

A nanny who is organised, can structure their day, follow the children’s routines and provide fun, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the children’s development.

A nanny who values children’s safety, is trustworthy, reliable, adaptive, respectful and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long-term basis.

Must have prior experience with children of similar ages.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children's routine
- Play and engage with the children
- Take the children to activities, i.e. playground, walks and to the park/playgrounds
- Light household duties - Light housework dishes, sweeping, wipe down surfaces as needed, laundry and folding if time allows
- Meal and snacks through the day for the children and prepare/cook an evening meal

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or childcare experience
- Childcare qualification (preferred)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working with Children's check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non smoker/vaper
- Child safety practices
- Basic cooking skills and food safety
