Nanny Position Available Brighton VIC | Full-Time | August Start

Start Date: 14 August 2025

Contract Term: 9 12 months (possibility to extend)

Pay: From $35-$40 per hour (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Location: Brighton VIC 3186

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 9:00 am 5:00 pm

A vibrant, busy household in Brighton, VIC are looking for a nurturing, positive, and enthusiastic nanny to care for their baby boy, (who will be 11 weeks old at the start of the role). The family includes the baby and also the fathers three teenage sons (18, 15, and 14) who live with them full time. While the household is lively and filled with music, sport, and activity, this position focuses solely on caring for baby.

Mum works from home most days and will be available for support when needed.

Responsibilities Typical Duties

  • Full-day care for the baby, focusing on developmental activities such as tummy time, sensory play, outdoor walks, and encouraging early motor skills.
  • Take the baby for walks and age-appropriate outings (family vehicle provided).
  • Maintain a nurturing, stimulating environment tailored to the baby s needs.
  • Light household duties and meal prep to be discussed (optional)
  • Possible in the future driving to activities as he grows (not essential at start).

Ideal Nanny
  • Experience caring for infants (0 12 months) and passion for child development.
  • Positive, upbeat, and caring personality.
  • Willingness to collaborate with parents and communicate openly.
  • Happy to work in a home where a parent may be present during the day.

Expectations
  • 5+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
  • Childcare qualifications
  • Young baby experience
  • Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • Have a current Working With Children s Check
  • Display strong communication skills and speaks English
  • Non smoking
  • Whooping cough vaccine
  • Full drivers license and clean driving record (Family car provided during work times)
