**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Manager Capability and Workforce Development, the Learning Program Coordinator will design, deliver, review and refine the suite of learning programs provided to the department's frontline workforce. The role will also consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders to ensure the content and schedule of the learning programs meet the business requirements.

The role will also contribute to projects across the work team and provide backup support to the Manager and other team members with their learning programs.

The Professional Development and Wellbeing Unit supports the department to build the frontline workforce capability, culture, engagement and performance through the provision of a broad range of learning and wellbeing programs and initiatives. The Unit has a focus on strategic change support, innovative program design and client-focused service delivery.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Operate within increased level of autonomy and accountability in delivering within broad strategic directions.
- Provide leadership and guidance based on advanced expertise.
- Contribute advanced expertise and knowledge to benefit strategic planning and organisation/sector-wide outcomes.
