**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for an experienced professional, with the ability to establish a vision and drive successful business outcomes through team collaboration and accountable decision making.

The API Chapter Lead is responsible for leading a team of software engineers and driving the technical capability of Integration platform. You will bring knowledge or deep expertise on a developing and maintaining integration platform and use this to develop and grow the capability of your chapter members.

**Key Responsibilities Include**
- Lead a team of software developers within Medibank’s Integration platform with accountability of delivery and quality for ongoing delivery of software.
- Lead the technical implementation of API solutions for a technology platform defining approaches, frameworks, libraries and cloud technologies
- Collaborates in driving and defining the technology platform roadmap with consideration of API guidelines and Principles and enable upcoming business capability.
- Contribute to thought leadership, and demonstrate technical expertise in modern disruptive technologies, cloud platforms, data quality, governance and architecture.
- Understand Operational capabilities and ensure the team meets all agreed operational KPIs such as incident, Change, Service Management and work with Medibank Change management and ensure processes are followed and improved.

**About You**

You will have extensive software design and implementation leadership experience especially in Integration services and have led teams across multiple geographies previously.

You will have a solid technical understanding of RESTful services, Integration patterns, Middleware, TIBCO ESB, Messaging technologies such as EMS, Amazon MSK, Open API Spec along with solid hands-on experience in Java Springboot, Camel, Python, Node js.
