**About the role**

The Technical API Analyst takes on the critical role of eliciting high-level API requirements, formulating API specifications, collaborating with stakeholders, and ultimately shaping the API's structure. This role enables deep understanding of requirements and guiding solutions for technical delivery activities for all kinds of integrations including APIs.

This is a hands-on role and bridges the gap between business objectives and technical implementation, contributing to the seamless integration of APIs into the digital landscape.

This role will report into the BA Practice Manager, but work closely with API Solution designers, Architects, Product Manager/Owners, Business stakeholders, Scrum Masters/IMs and the delivery squads and ensure delivery of quality, cost effective and "fit for purpose" solutions within agreed timelines.

**About you**

Prior working experience in integration & API tooling, such as yaml, OpenAPI, Postman, Stoplight, Swagger Editor, and writing API documentation will be critical along with a good understanding of SOAP, REST, GraphQL, Batch processing, Asynchronous Services.
