**Disability Support Workers**

**Independent Living Victoria are currently seeking passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers to work in Sunshine West.**

**The role will involve**:

- Working with a male client.
- **MUST be confident in administering suppositories.**
- 2-hour shifts, 8:30am - 10:30am, every 2nd day.
- Assistance with personal hygiene as required.

**Additional shifts can be provided as opportunities arise with other clients**

**What you’ll need, or must be willing to obtain, prior to employment**:

- A valid Australian Drivers Licence and regular access to a vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
- A qualification in Disability Support, Individual Support, Aged Care or Nursing.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- The legal right to work in Australia.
- A current Police Check (within 3 years).
- A current First Aid & CPR certificate (First Aid within 3 years, CPR within 1 year).
- A currently Manual Handling certificate (within 1 year).
- Various other certificates relating to Infection Prevention and NDIS modules
- Ability to provide 2 professional references.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
