**Your new role**

As the Manager - Reservoirs, you will lead the end-to-end business operations for reservoirs across South Australia. Your knowledge of People leadership and change, Recreation Management and Biodiversity will complement this role through the planning and delivery of on-ground visitor and recreation access, land and fire management for major land holdings and operation and maintenance of reservoir assets and water supply systems. Overseeing a sizeable team, you will navigate achievement of cost and quality targets, ensuring beneficial outcomes for customers and community.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead programs and resources responsible for delivering Land, Fire, Recreation and Public Access outcomes.
- Develop and set performance targets and ensure effective employee resource allocation, prioritisation and drive efficiency in productivity.
- Lead reservoir operations and maintenance including biodiversity activities, volunteer programs and minor infrastructure maintenance.
- Drive the implementation and embedment of safety management frameworks.
- Build and lead an effective high performing team that influences collaboration towards achieving divisional and organisational goals.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Demonstrated success in leading change and transformation through collaboration, communication and strategy
- Ability to quickly build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of operation and maintenance of water storage assets and supply systems, visitor facilities and reservoir reserve infrastructure.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety, water quality and environmental procedures.
- Sound knowledge of visitor management and land management principles and practices.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management, Park Management or equivalent or significant demonstrated experience in these fields.
