Eligibility and Career Path

You'll be eligible for both Subsurface Engineering and Drilling & Completions Engineering Streams as a Petroleum Engineering graduate.

Subsurface Engineering:

  • Characterise hydrocarbon recovery from reservoirs and optimise it for maximum efficiency.
  • Involved in all stages of the asset lifecycle: exploration, appraisal, development, and production.
  • Day-to-day tasks include analysing reservoir data, creating models, and forecasting production.

Drilling & Completions Engineering:

  • Collaborate with area teams to prepare well designs, cost estimates, and operational guidelines.
  • Support incident response, project management, field supervision, and cost review.
