Southern Cross Care Queensland currently has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and self-directed Quality and Governance Business Partner to join our SCCQ family based at our Support Centre in Upper Mt Gravatt.

**_What are the key responsibilities?_**
Reporting to the Head of Governance and Clinical Services, this role is responsible for monitoring and improving the organisation’s quality systems across the business, including but not limited to the maintenance of
accreditation across all services.
Working as a Quality and Governance Business Partner your key focus will be on benchmarking clinical care, everyday living and lifestyle outcomes,
internal audit and measuring overall quality performance indicators to ensure an optimal customer experience for our service users and their families/representatives across residential aged care, home care and retirement living.
The role will also be responsible for researching and advising on service delivery trends based on evidence-based practice and consumer choice further developing delivery models to ensure improvement in the quality of life for all our customers.
**_What you will bring to the role?_**
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or allied health practitioner (highly desirable) or extensive experience in a similar governance role,
- Significant experience in leading a quality improvement program
- Demonstrated understanding of quality management principles and practices with an emphasis on continuous improvement
- Ability to assist and monitor the quality performance of all services and the capacity to suggest strategies to improve with guidance to promote positive change in a sustainable way
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and relate to all levels of management, employees, volunteers and customers on a regular basis
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary theory and practice within the Aged Care sector, including knowledge of current legislative requirements and Standards of the Aged Care Industry
- Ability to travel between SCCQ sites across Queensland as required

Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago. They saw a need to provide compassionate care and inclusive service to some of the most vulnerable, the ageing population, in the community.
Since then, SCCQ has grown to employ over 1000 staff caring for and supporting more than 2000 people across 13 residential aged care homes, 5 retirement villages, 28 social houses, the National Disability and Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and home care services in metropolitan and rural Queensland.
