**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are currently looking for a Pallet Control manager to join our Forrestfield team. You will be Responsible for providing management of all functions of pallet control across the business, including effectively controlling and recording the transition of pallets across multiple sites, regular reporting to management on key metrics, with a view to reducing pallet hire costs whilst eliminating pallet losses. You will be required to ensure that all operational staff are following correct operational procedures for pallet accountability. In addition, you will review pallet control procedures, and implement best practices to ensure loss prevention and cost mitigation strategies wherever possible.
- Accurately record/monitor pallet information into the 2IC Software
- Cross checking of consignment notes and POD’s against Pallet documentation
- Establishing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with key management and staff.
- Assisting to complete and maintain reconciliations of accounts and report variations for review and resolution.
- Answer all incoming administration enquires regarding Pallets in a timely and polite manner.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, bright, organised, and can work with mínimal supervision. We are looking for a strong background in Pallet control, ideally within a transport related environment. You can also demonstrate:

- Min 4 years’ experience as a Pallet Controller / Team Management within a Linehaul / Metropolitan PUD transport environment.
- Proficient with pallet control software - 2IC system and familiarity with CHEP/Loscam.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage your time to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, teams, and Word
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Strong level of attention to detail as well as analytically minded
- Geographical knowledge of Western Australia areas and towns advantageous
- Experience in the transport industry
- Experience in the FMCG Industry will be highly regarded
