**About the Role**

The Yard Controller will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations at our Forrestfield site. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage yard logistics effectively while maintaining high safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Yard Operations**: Coordinate truck movements, ensure efficient loading/unloading.

**Scheduling and Logistics**: Execute collection and delivery schedules, booking yard collections, and managing time slots.

**Inventory Management**: Assist in managing products arriving at and leaving the site.

**Team Collaboration**: Liaise with internal staff, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

**Documentation**: Assist in preparing delivery dockets and verifying delivery costs.

**Safety and Compliance**: Identify and report irregularities, maintain housekeeping standards, and uphold workplace safety protocols.

**Attributes and Experience**:

- 5 years of logistics or yard coordinating/ management experience.
- A forklift license and a background in yard operations are highly desirable.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with logistics systems.
- Strong decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage diverse teams.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
