**About the role**

The purpose of the Project Lead, Specialist Outpatients Clinics is to work with key stakeholders to undertake mapping of current outpatient services, including activity, triage data and associated resources. This role will also require the analysis of current processes for outpatient clinics, benchmarking with other public health care providers and the development of governance frameworks and associated documentation for outpatient service provision.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Map outpatient services within Grampians Health, focusing on workforce requirements, room availability and the use of appropriate data to ensure oversight of outpatient clinics and ensure appropriate NWAU and MBS funding allocation
- Development of process pathways for outpatient clinics and recommend governance frameworks for outpatient clinic
- Assist with the determination of the funding requirements for outpatient clinics in line with Grampians Health Strategic Direction and Clinical Service Plan and Department of health policies and guidelines
- Identify gaps that arise from the mapping services, with recommendations for mitigation strategies
- Develop and implement Governance documents for Outpatient Clinics.
- Develop and implement communication strategy for key stakeholders, which will also include use of SharePoint as a central communication depository

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in, and understanding of, specialist outpatients’ clinics or outpatient services
- Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to deal with and problem solve successful
- Work effectively and cooperatively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships
- Good IT skills including development of spreadsheets and use of excel
