**About us**

Established in 1871, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is located in Sydney’s The Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Art Gallery acknowledges the original custodians of this land - the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.

The Art Gallery attracts around 2 million visitors annually and runs one of Australia’s largest art education programs with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.

Our expanded campus opened in late 2022, providing the Art Gallery with a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. The addition has given the Art Gallery double the exhibition space, allowing us to significantly increase our scheduled exhibitions, family programming and educational programs, allowing the Art Gallery to share more art with more people.

**About the Role**

The Head of ICT and Digital ensures alignment of our operational frameworks, standards and processes based on industry leading practices and achieves optimal outcomes within the Art Gallery’s Strategic Plan objectives and operational business requirements.

Lead and drive the day-to-day functional and operational delivery of Information & Communications Technology and Digital services and programs. The role is responsible for service assurance, performance, availability, support, maintenance, and operational risk management for technologies that enable the Art Gallery to meet its objectives.

**What technical / soft skills you require**

1. Degree in ICT or related discipline, coupled with proven management level experience delivering a diverse range of web and digital service technologies including ERP solutions to a medium to large sized organisation

2. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing the delivery of an ICT strategy that transforms and organisations use of and value from technology through the delivery of contemporary ICT solutions that engage and meet the needs of business users and clients across the organisation.

3. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing cyber and information security policy, procedures, risk management and compliance.

4. Understanding of relevant technology, practices and innovations in the area of digital engagement ideally within a cultural organisation.

5. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively.

1. Provide an example of a significant contemporary service technology initiative where you worked collaboratively with your ICT team and business users to transform business service delivery and to achieve organisational goals. (300 words)

2. Explain how your strategic ICT skills were utilised in effectively supporting an organisation or business unit through a change management process. (300 words)
