As a Payroll Administrator you’ll work within a small team to provide accurate, timely and effective processing and support of all related payroll activities generated from the employee life cycle.

You’ll work closely with HR Operations and People systems to ensure there is a clear allocation of duties and complete the back-office processing of the employee variations which occur during employment adhering to the government regulations, employment contract and industrial instruments which constrain the payroll function

**Key Responsibilities**
- Respond, resolve or redirect payroll related queries and requests from employees, people leaders and suppliers
- Accurately record all employee movements and variations to achieve integrity of employee information from a payment, organisational structure, costing and HR Analytics perspective
- Provide excellent customer service with every interaction focusing on solving the query and / or educating on how to complete the process through Employee Self Service
- Investigate payroll discrepancies and escalate as required
- Support overflow work from the HR Officer/Administrator as required

You thrive when working within a team and enjoy sharing knowledge, providing support and a superior customer service experience.

You consistently demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and adherence to service level agreements while taking pride and accountability within your role.

Drawing on your previous experience in similar roles you have a strong understanding of Payroll principles (Superannuation, Tax, entitlements etc) and the importance to adhere to the Privacy Principles and management of sensitive data and information.

Confident in MS suite and HRIS (Aurion experience is a bonus), you use initiative and anticipate cause and effect if there is a process change to the end user and have the ability to understand, identify and rectify issues quickly.
