Assistant Manager Nepean Region

Johnny H is support done differently, providing services and support to clients with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, to give them a greater personal and community engagement.

This role is responsible for supporting the Regional Manager (you'll be the _**Assistant Regional Manager**_) in the management of our Nepean region services; part of the senior leadership team that strive every day to provide the best results for our clients, employees, families and the community.

**The Job**:
Responsible for co-ordinating, managing and delivering the learning, activities and social calendar for the Nepean Region, this role requires a commitment to a roster including Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, evenings and overnight trips that may extend beyond those particular days.

We see this role working in partnership with our Regional Manager as the driving force behind our Centre based learning programmes and Community Activities - passionate and sociable and a part of a tight knit, high performing team, the individual will work with our clients creating enriched personal relationships and assisting to build life-skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage our team in the provision of our services across a number of business units
- Identify training needs to educate and develop team to achieve quality outcomes
- Be a positive brand ambassador for Johnny H with all Stakeholders
- Model good leadership to inspire our people; mentor and develop our team toward best practice outcomes
- Understand our business plan and with Regional Manager monitor progress and ensure offerings align with business vision
- Work with Regional Manager to understand budget, monitor progress and ensure expenditure remains within budget
- Follow up on Debtors as required and ensure weekly invoicing is completed with Regional Manager
- On site Duty Manager in absence of Regional Manager; attend inhouse and external events, and overnight trips
- Responsible for shuttle scheduling and staffing of shuttles, to meet client needs and ensure shuttle offering is profitable
- Actively engage our ‘ULearn’ staff to execute lesson plans by planning and facilitate lessons as required. Meet regularly with the team to mentor and develop facilitators in conjunction with L & D Manager
- Other duties as directed or as required by the business

**The successful individual will have**:

- Strong communication skills with all Stakeholders and have a high level of empathy
- Experience in Travel or Tour Guiding and Activities, as a Social Co-ordinator or even a Duty Manager; having worked previously in a high performing customer service team and led a successful work team
- Understanding of the NDIS and client engagement as well as working with people with a disability
- Strong sense of community and engagement with a desire to go above and beyond
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (can be obtained at the end of the selection process)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
