This role is responsible for executing business development and marketing programs for Paxon’s Corporate Finance division.

- The BD Adviser / Coordinator will be part of a team responsible for the development and implementation of BD plans, sector and client initiatives, profiling and tender submission processes. The role works with the national BD team to provide support across Paxon’s key sectors of influence.- Role Responsibilities:
- Business Planning
- Assist with planning and implementing of sector initiatives, individual BD plans, client targeting strategies and related execution.
- Tender / Bid Coordination
- Liaise with individuals / teams to coordinate tenders, proposals and capability statements.
- Assist with drafting, compiling and reviewing relevant information for tenders.
- Maintain and regularly improve a suite of standard content for tenders and bids.
- Track tender submissions and wins and report regularly on win rates.
- Analysis & Research
- Actively develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market in which Paxon operates.
- Understand the competitive position of the firm through extensive internal and external research.
- Undertake research for clients and sectors to inform BD targeting initiatives as required.
- Manage projects database and coordination of project write-ups.
- Profiling
- Collaborate with the BD team and technical staff to market Paxon’s services and expertise
- Support in developing client knowledge-based tools and materials.
- Develop and maintain a suite of precedent CVs.
- Support the planning, scheduling and delivery of client-related events, internal firm functions and external industry group meetings.
- Marketing / Communications
- Create, revise, improve and maintain marketing materials including capability statements, presentations and brand appropriate imagery.
- Support for marketing and BD initiatives scheduled in all States and Territories.
- Monitor, analyse and communicate market and industry trends.
- Administration
- Maintain a central location for all tender methodologies.
- Organise memberships including managing relationships and liaising with industry organisations about events and requests.
- Deliver BD and marketing administrative support.
Skills And Experience- Technical
- Bachelor degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Communications or other relevant major.
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years (Coordinator) or 3 - 5 years (Adviser) of BD/marketing experience or similar role; experience in a professional service industry is an asset.
- Previous experience in planning, coordinating, delivering tender and bid documents.
- Proficiency in InDesign and /or e-marketing would be beneficial.
- Proficiencies
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written proficiency, including proofreading and editing capabilities.
- Ability to handle a variety of projects, evaluate priorities and achieve results in a fast paced environment.
- High degree of motivation with driving sense of responsibility, accountability and responsiveness.
- Able to work well in a team and independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commerciality and understanding of the challenges faced by clients and businesses.
- Ability to work flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
