**Job Description Summary**: As the Ultrasound Applications Specialist at GE Healthcare Australia and New Zealand you will be responsible for providing formal technical and clinical support during the sales process primarily within VIC supporting the General Imaging, Women’s Health and Point of Care segments. Responsibilities include providing pre-sale product demonstrations (clinical trial support) and post-sale installation, training and ongoing customer support across our LOGIQ, Voluson and VENUE ultrasound platforms. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Essential Responsibilities (include but not limited to)**: - Provide technical and clinical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed - Improve customer satisfaction and install base retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer - Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training - Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies - Produce well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs - Facilitate team communication and the sharing of best practices - Provide clinical, technical and professional guidance as necessary to improve the customer experience **About You**: We are looking for an active professional with clinical and technical certifications and registries necessary to scan live patients during a clinical setting. Your communication skills will be pivotal to your success. You understand how to influence others both verbally and in writing, and you are skilled at knowing how to communicate at all levels of an organisation. You will be mentored and supported as you navigate your new role in GE Healthcare, however it is critical that you are a “self-starter” and can take initiative. Sometimes you just have to figure things out and not be afraid to ask questions until you get to the right person or answer We expect you to embody our Leadership Behaviours: to act with humility and build trust; lead with transparency; deliver with focus, and drive ownership - always with unyielding integrity. **Qualifications and Experience**: - Must have active professional clinical/technical certifications/registries necessary to scan live patients in a clinical setting - Demonstrated current basic clinical scanning proficiencies on current products/platforms - Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products - Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows - Experience working across a matrix organisation with excellence communication skills - Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and desire to achieve agreed outcomes - Proven professional business acumen with strong prioritisation and organisational skills - Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement - Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good command of English - A valid driver's license is required - Compliance with vaccination mandates GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
