**The Position**:
Mine Site are seeking an experienced and reliable Low Loader operator / co-ordinator to join our Heavy Haulage team based out of our modern facility in Welshpool. This role is responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the safe transport services of oversize & over-mass equipment to remote work sites in a reliable and safe manner.

**Duties**:

- Maintain and operate Mack prime mover, 50T, 100T low loaders & road
- Co-ordinating the transport requirements from base to our remote sites and return
- Application of all relevant permits (Main Roads, Western Power, Traffic Escorts)
- Independent Loading and unloading varying over-dimensional and over-mass machinery and equipment
- Completing prestart and other operational checklists and administrative paperwork
- Complying with fatigue management and road rules and regulations
- Carrying and understanding all statutory and regulatory HVO permits
- Attending and actively participating in routine safety meetings

**Skills & Experience required**:

- MC drivers Licence and extensive experience in Heavy Haulage & Specialised Transport
- Load & Shift VOC’s or National Accredited Operating Tickets for earthmoving machinery
- Highly experienced in oversize equipment moves
- Full understanding of road transport legislation including fatigue management, HVO permits and all operating conditions
- An understanding of Heavy Haulage Road Networks and remote site locations
- Safe and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a Drivers medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
