About the role

TLC Haulage is seeking an experienced Metropolitan HC Driver to join our team for a full-time night shift role based in Osborne Park, WA. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods within the metro area, playing a crucial role in supporting our logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate heavy commercial vehicles (HC class) to transport live poultry from the outer metropolitan area to Osborne Park
  • Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations, prioritising the safety of yourself, your cargo, and other road users
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping, including logbooks and delivery documentation
  • Liaise with operations to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
  • Support the broader logistics team as needed, including washing and cleaning of vehicles

What we're looking for

  • A current and valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy commercial vehicles in a metropolitan environment
  • Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
