**About the Role**
The NPD Project Specialist will manage and coordinate the successful completion of new product development & product change projects for our own brand and exclusive products across Spirits, RTD, Beer, Cider, Non-alc & Imported Wine. You'll work across creative, commercial and production functions fostering great teamwork and communication at all times. A key part of this role is managing projects through our project workflow system (Adobe Workfront) with teams. Of importance is that new projects are set up correctly from day 1 and are following an agreed way of working.

The role also acts as an owner of our Workfront system to provide feedback on behalf of our business, champion the system, and identify process and system improvements.

This opportunity is for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, based out of Sydney or Melbourne. Flexible working arrangements available.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Leads cross functional teams on NPD projects and agreed strategic initiatives to meet project objectives. Fosters great team work and behaviours at all times. Leads regular project WIP meetings ensuring project status is kept up to date.
- Moves to get projects into our NPD process for the benefit of our teams - provides visibility of requirements to key team members and stakeholders.
- Identifies and mitigates project risks and issues, ensuring that potential obstacles are proactively addressed and resolved.
- Facilitates completion of new product briefs, COGS builds & stage gate papers with accountable team members.
- Ensures all products comply with regulatory, quality & sustainability standards.
- Manages projects through our project management platform Adobe Workfront - champions its success & leads further improvement in its capability, ensuring that it is adding value to our team and ways of working.

**About You**
To be successful in this position you'll have a comprehensive understanding of product development practices, ideally within similar FMCG or retail organisations.
This position will see you interacting with numerous internal and external stakeholders, so you will require strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
You'll also have:

- Strong cross functional leadership & project management capability.
- Experience with project management systems / workflow driven software.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management & negotiation skills - ability to influence at all levels.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects across categories at one time.
- Good packaging experience & knowledge of beverage manufacturing.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodology and strong analytical skills - ability to continually refine, simplify & improve our practices.
- Degree or equivalent qualifications in business or a science related field would be highly regarded as well as accreditation in project management.
