**Position Information**:
Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College is situated between the ocean and the lake on Darkinjung land and comprises of Tumbi Umbi Campus (Year 7-10), Berkeley Vale Campus (Year 7-10) and The Entrance Campus (Years 11 and 12). The College has approximately 2,800 students and provides a diverse secondary curriculum on the Central Coast. The College nurtures a strong partnership with the Kuriwa AECG to ensure highly effective outcomes for its 331 Aboriginal students and has a strong commitment to high expectations for all students. It is well regarded for its academic, vocational, cultural, sporting and artistic programs. The college is a proud partner of the Tuggerah Lakes Learning Community, which includes seven partner primary schools.

**Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria,

1. Demonstrated visible, strategic and innovative educational leadership to raise student, staff and community expectations and aspirations to achieve excellence for all at Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College.

2. Demonstrated capacity to lead, aspire and mentor teams across a range of settings to support a shared learning vision.

3. Demonstrated ability to work in authentic partnership with Aboriginal students and communities to produce outstanding outcomes.

4. Proven outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and foster productive relationships and build effective partnerships across a diverse community.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education

2. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs

3. High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community

4. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning

5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning

6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
