**About You**: ✨
Hold a Cert III in an industry-related qualification or 6 months relevent support work experience
Hold a Working With Children Check (blue card)
Have an NDIS Worker Screening Check (yellow card)
Maintain a current First Aid & CPR certificate
The ability to work a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts as required
Obtain manual handling mandatory training

**About the Position✨**
As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our participants. Our role in Woolloongabba is a 24/7 concierge style facility which allows participants to live independantly with a support worker close by at all times to support them when required.
This is a flexible, casual role with an abundance of hours on offer. Shift times are generally 8 hours and there are day, afternoon & night shifts available.
**✨Responsibilities**: ✨
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to clients in their homes
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications and assist with medication management
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organization
- Assist clients with mobility and transfer, using proper techniques and equipment
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment
- Respect and promote the client's independence and dignity
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills
