Risk Technology Manager

**The opportunity**

Business and Technology management therefore have a responsibility to ensure decisions regarding technology are fiscally prudent, aligned to our business strategy, keep our information secure and meet all relevant legal and policy requirements. The Risk Manager Technology is a senior 2nd line risk role that supports the Senior Technology Risk Manager in overseeing and challenging Bupa APAC Technology and Information Security risk appetite and control environment.

**This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne office. (Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home)
**How will I help?**

**You will add value by**:

- Advocate for a robust and transparent risk culture and lead by example.
- Ensure that there is a risk and governance culture in line with Bupa values, which is demonstrated by the behaviour of individuals.
- Develop and maintain a strong rapport with relevant Business and Functional Unit leaders and employees, facilitating two-way interaction in relation to risk, governance and compliance.
- Provide awareness and education in relation to the Risk Management Framework, as required.
- Review the controls and actions of business unit technology risks and enterprise risks owned by the Technology Services functional unit.
- Provide overview of projects and initiatives and the technology and information security risks and impact to services and availability.
- Identify and recommend appropriate controls to effectively manage technology and information security risks as needed.

**What do I need?**
- BS or MA in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent role and context experience
- ISACA (CRISC, CISA, CISM) or RMIA (CPRM) highly regarded
- ISACA or RMIA membership or equivalent highly regarded
- 7+ years experience in first line or second line risk management roles in large organisations in Information Technology risk management
