The Opportunity*

We are scaling incredibly quickly (introducing new products and categories to the market) so we are looking for a passionate SEO Specialist to join the marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Search, you will aim to maximise Pet Circle’s organic visibility.

What you will be doing*
- On Page SEO_
- SEO-friendliness of key pages (transactional and non transactional) measured by non-branded organic visit growth and conversion
- Internal link optimisation
- Off page SEO_
- Identify relevant link acquisition opportunities to drive site authority

Trends Spotting and SEO content ideation
- Keyword Research to identify new content opportunities and products for our customers
- Content briefing and publishing
- SEO Tracking_
- Train key stakeholders on best practices for SEO
- Content_
- Coordinate with content creators the implementation of SEO friendly content across different sections of our website
- Content Quality (accuracy,consistency and relevancy) of Product and Category Listing pages (in strong coordination with category managers)
- Support the brand function in marketing initiatives
- Your Influence_
Cross collaborate with SEM and other channels to support commercial and promotional initiatives (including Social, Brand Marketing, EDM, etc)
- Provide recommendations for SEO enhancements of our platform (in coordination with the Head of Search)
- Be the go-to person for anything SEO and content related across the website

Your Ideal Skills & Experience*

*
1-2 years’ of proven experience in SEO (e-commerce sector desirable)
- Experience in the development of successful content marketing initiatives for engagement and user acquisition
- Basic HTML is a must, JSS/CSS knowledge is highly advantageous
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who craves ownership, responsibility, and outcomes
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the work required to achieve outcomes
- Enjoys learning new things and is passionate about the digital industry in general
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills: demonstrated ability to work closely with others, both within and across functions to achieve shared objectives
- A strong passion for the pet category is highly desirable

**Role Location**
At Pet Circle we believe that collaboration and team connection is key for success. This role will be based in Sydney with a blended working arrangement of 2 days in our pet friendly offices and the remaining working from home.

As part of your working from home arrangement we will provide you with IT hardware and an office allowance to support your home set up. #LI-Hybrid
