**Role Description/Criteria**

**Instrumental Music Teacher - Voice**

Aquinas College is a Catholic Secondary College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with an enrolment of over 1700.

We wish to appoint a dynamic, suitably qualified musician to the position of Classroom Music Teacher and Instrumental Music Teacher - Voice. This is a 0.2 - 0.4 FTE fixed term 12 month position.

The successful applicant:

- Will have the ability to teach Voice
- Will be willing to teach individual as well as small group lessons
- Will be comfortable teaching Year 7 - 12 students including VCE groups and solo students
- Will have the ability to facilitate and conduct large core ensembles, and small extension vocal ensembles (multiple part harmony)
- Will participate in school music events as required from time to time
- Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
- Will have excellent communication skills
- Will have the ability to work successfully within a team
