This organisation is an international renewable energy developer, with a large portfolio of projects in the development pipeline for both large sale utility solar and BESS projects. With a locally hired team, and strong international backing, they are well positioned to be a big player in the countries push to net zero.

Due to continued growth, a Grid connection manager is now required to join their team in Brisbane, on a full time basis.

As the successful applicant, you will:

- Support in identifying and evaluation of feasibility of connecting new projects to the grid
- Assist in developing the strategy for achieving connection of each project, prepare project plans and manage to achieve required outcomes.
- Ensure projects are developed to be suitable for unconstrained network access and financial prospects
- Provide input to the Technical Due Diligence of projects considered for Merge and Acquisition
- Manage consultants to perform grid connection studies to ensure the successful completion of S, D, R1, commissioning and R2 stages of grid connection as required.
- Play an integral role in Power systems solution development activities
- Provide technical support to EPC team in relevant electrical engineering matters during design and construction
- Manage the project through the grid connection approval process including engagement with key stakeholders
