Product Manager- Tradelink Support Office

**The Opportunity**

We have multiple full-time positions available working from our North Side Brisbane head office, due to expansion and reconfiguration of the team. No more commuting to the city We have free onsite parking and opportunities for flexible working arrangements including working from home.
Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, you will assist in developing supplier and category strategies that meet the needs of the business. This will include providing category analysis, identifying cost reduction initiatives, and motoring competitors in the market.
Other responsibilities include:
- Assist the Senior Category Manager in Business case development and financial modelling.
- Own the New Product Development process and coordinate all internal stakeholders to achieve a successful launch.
- Develop effective working relationships with International sourcing teams to achieve objectives.
- Provide category and product performance reporting.
- Have a strong knowledge of sales team and operations functions to ensure category solutions are in line with what the business requires.

- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of distribution-based business processes
- Strong planning, coordinating, time management and communication skills
- Good excel skills essential, experience with macros and models preferable.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in a similar role
