About the Business and the Role

Our company is a well-established manufacturer of thermoformed and injection moulded plastic packaging products, primarily serving the food sector. We manufacture in cleanroom environments using new, mainly servo-driven machinery, along with some pneumatics. We are excited to announce the arrival of our new extrusion line and are seeking an experienced operator to run and troubleshoot it.

Key Responsibilities
- Tool change and machine troubleshooting
- Performing breakdown and preventative maintenance, along with some project work
- Ensuring repairs are conducted efficiently to minimize production loss
- Improvising and troubleshooting issues relevant to the plant
- Mechanical problem solving
- Working unsupervised to complete maintenance projects and schedules

Skills and Experience
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PET or PP extrusion lines (a must)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Understanding of electrical and automation systems
- Experience in pressure forming, thermoforming, or plastics (highly regarded)

Working Hours

We offer all shifts, including flexible working hours.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with PET or PP extrusion lines is essential.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot the new extrusion line.
- Mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality in a cleanroom environment.

- 8 hour shift
