This is a great opportunity to grow and build your career with a leading provider of mortgages where we are seeking someone to join their home loan constructions team as a constructions home loan officer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very stable and experienced team of 14 that pride themselves on supporting each other and process a growing portfolio of construction home loans in a timely manner.

Your role will have you processing progress payments regarding construction stages of a home. Tasks would include the following
- Issuing and preparing and organising authority to commence construction stages, ordering and reviewing final inspections
- Assist with the review progress of files and preparing and processing progress payments
- Contacting builders and customers to clarify information and provide updates and progress of their files
- Escalate matters in a timely manner to meet processing deadlines and SLA's
- Chase up invoices and documents from contractors, inputting information into the database, chase up third parties, solicitors, councils and agents
- Manage all allocated files within the agreed service levels as directed by the Team Manager

To be suitable for this role you will have previous mortgage processing experience and knowledge and strong communication skills. The role requires you to have the following attributes
- Ability to prioritise work and perform well under pressure
- Problem solving and multi tasking skills
- Focus and good attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven previous experience with a minimum of 6 months within a similar financial services role
- Intermediate level Microsoft and computer based system skills with the ability to quickly input data or locate information
