Are you interested in becoming an **Apprentice Mechanical Fitter (to commence January 2025), **working with cutting edge technology in automation and robotics **. **You will be rotating throughout different customer sites located in the North / North West Melbourne.

This position is ideal for a motivated **2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice **part way through their Apprenticeship or mature age 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice to commence January 2025. This would ideally suit someone that has a passion for all things electrical and mechanical.

We are currently offering apprenticeships in:

- Mechanical - (Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade)

Upon completion, you will be fully certified, with experience in complex industrial environments and have access to a variety of career options across the national Dematic business including: Field Service or On-site Maintenance Technician, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Project Site Supervisor positions.

**About You**

We are keen to hear from you if you are:

- **A current 2nd or 3rd Year Mechanical Apprentice who is part way through an apprenticeship or a mature age 2nd or 3rd Year Mechanical Apprentice seeking a career change to start 2025**
- Motivated and willing to learn, with a genuine interest for all things Mechanical
- Passionate about robotics, gadgets, gidgets, gaming, automation, electronics, mechanical systems or cars
- A good communicator with strengths in mathematics or science
- A positive attitude, and willingness to tackle anything that comes your way
- An Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia with full working rights
- A current Driver’s License and own transport is preferred
