As Australia’s largest recycler, our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.
As the Equipment Coordinator, you will manage equipment requirements for Visy Recycling’s commercial collections customers. Reporting to the National Equipment Supervisor and based at our Tullamarine office, you'll be responsible for ensuring that equipment is delivered and collected safely, on time, and within budget.
**What you'll do**:
- Coordinate the delivery, collection, and maintenance of equipment to meet DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) targets.
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure customer satisfaction and equipment readiness.
- Conduct risk and safety assessments for equipment and services, ensuring compliance with Visy’s safety standards.
- Manage stock control, purchasing, and stock adjustments within SAP.
- Handle customer interaction records, organise equipment repairs, and maintain brand presentation.
- Monitor vendor performance, manage purchase orders, and reconcile invoices to ensure efficient equipment operations.
**What You Will Bring**:
- Experience in inventory and stocktake management in Recycling/ Manufacturing/ Logistics industries is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service focus and communication skills, building rapport easily with customers and vendors
- Strong attention to detail and administrative skills, with experience in inventory management and stock control
- Safety-focused with experience in maintaining OHS standards and conducting risk assessments
- Experience in SAP and vendor management is highly desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (minimum intermediate level)
