Salary range: $125,964-$147,264 plus statutory superannuation
Be part of a forward-thinking, risk-based regulator where ideas and opinions are valued. This role will require you to:
- Manage the operations of the TER branch and lead teams to deliver the VIT's teacher engagement and registration functions through motivating staff, managing performance and providing capability development.
- Engage with duty holders (teachers, early childhood teachers and employers of teachers) to inform and educate them about registering and maintaining teacher registration and identify and respond to stakeholder needs.
- Monitor and review registration policy and processes - proactively identify opportunities and risks, and promote continuous improvement of processes and practices.

As an experienced leader, you will have sound and practical knowledge of contemporary risk-based regulatory practices and operations management. You will be able to lead and motivate a team toward operational goals and have a strong understanding change management. You will have experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, and ideally a passion for child safety.
