An opportunity to provide expert technical information and support the Office of the State Building Surveyor

We currently have a Fixed Term, 2 Year Opportunity available in our Technical and Regulation, Building team where you can utilise your extensive Building knowledge to provide support and technical services within the Office of the State Building Surveyor.

Within the role of Technical Advisor (Building) you will be responsible for providing high-level technical building advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders, responding to issues and enquiries, developing documentation, reports and briefings, liaising with industry, supporting technical committees/boards and providing specialised technical services.

**What we are looking for**:

- Demonstrated ability to analyse technical reports and provide high quality advice, and build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the ability to negotiate strategic outcomes.
- Proven ability to verbally communicate complex technical concepts and information effectively, including delivering presentations.
