**The opportunity**:
The role of Technical Advisor plays a critical part in KBR’s Land Vehicle Systems Branch within our MSP Land division and will see you act as an SME in the Technical Advisory space.

You will work within a talented, close-knit, driven and multi-disciplinary team to deliver outcomes for Defence.

The key mission of this role is to develop Defence Purchasing Descriptions (DPD) and Processing Engineering Changes for Technical Certification and RODUM investigations.

**In this position you will have the opportunity to**:

- Interpret user requirements and develop/Review Defence Purchasing Descriptions.
- Investigate RODUM reports and provide valuable technical advice.
- Demonstrate your technical knowledge and provide advice on investigation outcomes focusing on safety, compliance with legislation and vehicle availability and readiness.
- Create and design Engineering Changes in support of CA19 fleet (raise new Engineering changes, Conduct CCJOS and prelim design work and support in Preliminary Hazard identification for development of Vehicle Hazard Logs).
- Participate in CA19 Knowledge sharing (impart knowledge and experience in Group forums for active discussion to develop logical effective outcomes through participation in collective Section Working Groups and System Safety working Groups).
- A current, active AGSVA Security Clearance of NV1 or above
- Technical experience within the automotive and heavy vehicle industry
- Knowledge of automotive legislation
- Knowledge of Australian Design Rules (ADR) compliance
- Knowledge of Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) code
- Experience within Defence / Defence Industry
