**What’s In It For You**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Facilitating effective communication among dental professionals, staff, and patients.
- Providing exceptional customer service at all stages of the patient journey, from booking, to intake, to post op instructions and recalls.
- Assisting with general bookkeeping for the practice (processes and guides are in place, so a willingness to learn and some exposure will be sufficient).
- Providing clerical and chair-side clinical support, including 4 handed dentistry and assisting with the use of rubber dams.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Patient billing and banking.
- Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls.
- Reprocessing and sterilisation of instruments.

**Who Are You?**
- An empathetic but professional individual that brings a balanced approach to patient care - compassionate but not a pushover.
- Excellent communicator; can effectively manage staff and patient interactions.
- Industrious, hard working people that can manage their time and work proactively will fit in well amongst like minded people here.
- Experience with Exact or other Dental softwares, highly looked upon.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and bookkeeping practices is highly advantageous.
- A Certificate 3 or 4 in Dental Assisting would be advantageous, though not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: Up to $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
